Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and we hope you’re ready to enjoy some great food, cozy family time, and maybe even a little football! Before you dig into that delicious turkey and pumpkin pie, we wanted to share some fun Thanksgiving facts and a friendly reminder for our community.

Did You Know?

🎉 The first Thanksgiving was celebrated in 1621 and lasted… three days!

October is Black History Month in the UK and Ireland, and this year’s theme “Reclaiming Narratives” carries a powerful message. It's about recognising, correcting, and celebrating the rich and diverse history of Black heritage.

Too often, the stories of Black history have been overlooked or misrepresented. This year, we’re shining a spotlight on the untold success, strength, joy and the full complexity of Black culture.
